The University of Buckingham was founded in 1976 by a group of Oxford Academics. Buckingham is the only university independent of direct government support in the United Kingdom, and has used its independence to pioneer a distinctive approach to higher education. The Development Team at the University has been actively fundraising for the past 2 years. The University has been using Raiser’s Edge for the past 16 years for alumni engagement, however they hadn’t been using it to record any gifts or for any reporting.
