By Train / Underground: The mainline railway stations of Queen Street, Central and Argyle Street are within 5 minutes walking distance. There are also convenient underground stations at St Enoch and Buchanan Street.
By Road:
- From the West
Come off at Junction 19, immediately after crossing the Kingston Bridge into Bothwell Street. Take the third right; turn into Wellington Street and cross Argyle Street into Robertson Street, turning left onto the Broomielaw. Take the 4th left into Maxwell Street, which leads you directly to the St. Enoch Car Park entrance. You can then walk through the St Enoch Centre and exit onto Argyle Street.
- From the East
Come off at Junction 19, turning left onto Arglye Street. Take 4th turning on right onto Robertston Street, then turn left onto the Broomielaw. Take the 4th left into Maxwell Street, which leads you directly to the St. Enoch Car Park entrance. You can then walk through the St Enoch Centre and exit onto Argyle Street. By Public Transport from Glasgow City Centre:
Train
- Glasgow Queen Street: Nearest underground is Buchanan Street, which is signposted in the train station.
- Glasgow Central: Nearest underground is Buchanan Street. Leave by the main entrance, turn right — Buchanan Street is 3rd on the left.
By Air
- BAA GLASGOW
Glasgow Airport is situated some 8 miles west of Glasgow City centre. The M8 motorway gives easy access to the city which is about 20 minutes drive from the airport. Buses and Coaches: All buses depart from the terminal forecourt. There are frequent services to Glasgow City Centre operated by Scottish Citylink and Fairline Coaches which have drop off points at various locations in the city, including close to Glasgow Central and Queen Street railway stations and at Buchanan Bus Station. Scottish Citylink also offer an hourly service to Edinburgh and there are a variety of services to other destinations.
Trains: Paisley Gilmour Street is the nearest railway station and is located just two miles from the airport. It can be reached by taxi or by the frequent local bus service which departs from the terminal forecourt. There are direct trains from Paisley Gilmour Street to Ayr and the Clyde coast and to Glasgow Central station. Glasgow's Central and Queen Street stations offer a wide variety of rail services to destinations throughout Scotland and England. For train enquiries, telephone 0345 48 49 50.
Taxis: Airport taxis are available 24 hours a day to any destination and any distance. Taxi drivers are obliged to meter the entire journey and publish their scale of charges. Longer distance journey prices may be negotiated with the driver. The taxi rank is located at the front of the terminal building a short walk from UK Arrivals. Assistance from the taxi management company and a list of charges is available at the taxi booking office next to the taxi rank.
