Use FTP to transfer a file to or retrieve a file from Blackbaud. Follow these instructions based on the web browser you are using.

Internet Explorer 6

- In your web browser, select Help, About Internet Explorer to determine your version. Proceed with these steps if you are using version 6; if you are using version 7 or a different browser, refer to the instructions below.
- Compress your files into one password-protected ZIP file (BB548).
- Click
Transfer your file to use our website's built in FTP. The empty window that pops up is your FTP folder.
- Copy and paste the ZIP file from your computer to your FTP folder (the pop up window). If you experience any difficulties transferring your file, review FTP Help.
- When the transfer is complete, inform the Blackbaud employee who is assisting you. To avoid unnecessary delay, provide the ZIP file's password and the name of the person who logged into FTP.

Internet Explorer 7, Firefox, and other browsers |
- Compress your files into one password-protected ZIP file (BB548).
- Transfer your file using FTP software (BB52724) or DOS (15371) with the following settings:
Host Name/Account: ftp1.blackbaud.com Server Type: FTP Port: 21
Your User Name and Password, which are unique to your website login, are below:

- When the transfer is complete, inform the Blackbaud employee who is assisting you. To avoid unnecessary delay, provide the ZIP file's password and the name of the person who logged into FTP.
