The term "usability testing" is frequently thrown around and misunderstood. Usability testing is simply evaluating whether a website is easy to use by watching real users use it. Usability testing doesn't have to conducted by PhDs in lab coats and definitely does not need to be expense. The Blackbaud NetCommunity design team want to show you some quick-and-dirty usability testing methods that we use every day that you can also use on your website.
