Blackbaud takes its Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) very seriously, and has a stringent policy in place to ensure that our impact on our staff, customers, society as a whole and the environment is a positive one.
Our founder, Tony Bakker, recognised the important role philanthropy and civic action play in healthy societies. So in the early days of the Company, he set efforts in motion that built a strong foundation for our corporate philanthropy and employee-led initiatives.
Today, we continue this proud tradition with a series of initiatives that enable both individual employees and the Company as a whole to make a real contribution to the society in which we live and operate.
· Team Blackbaud
An employee-led volunteer group coordinates campaigns and volunteer activities in each of our locations. One member from seven localised groups serves on Team Blackbaud Global, which liaises with Corporate Relations & Philanthropy to present our employees’ ideas and feedback.
· Volunteer for Vacation
We offer employees the ability to earn additional annual leave days as a reward for volunteering. This benefit gives individuals the flexibility to find a perfect match for their skills while encouraging such hands-on participation.
· Employee “Reward Your Passion” volunteer impact grants
We make donations to the not-for-profit organisations where our employees volunteer. Our employees are encouraged to nominate their chosen not-for-profit organisation for a quarterly grant, and an employee committee selects the recipients.
